Ullr/Maybury joins Team

Mergers & Acquisitions

With individuals refocusing their interests in other sports
and many relocating geographically, the Ullr/Maybury membership has decreased significantly. Many of our members are joining
Team NordicSkiRacer.com team in order to be
part of the camaraderie associated with a well-organized club. As the spokesperson for Ullr/Maybury,
I would like to encourage the remaining members of our team to merge with Mike's team.

Anu Kyyhkynen,
women's winner of the 2002 Finlandia Hiito Ski Marathon, has joined up with
the Ullr/Maybury XC Ski Team in Michigan.

In Memory of Hugh Sisung

In 1983 a small group of Nordic ski enthusiasts who
did most of their training at Maybury State park in Northville Michigan decided to form their
own ski team. Although we had less than 20 skiers every individual had a passion for skiing
and sense of community as a group. What we lacked in size we made up for in enthusiasm, team
spirit, determination, effort and ability. Hugh was one of the original Maybury team
members.
