The original goal was intervals, but I had spent the previous 3 hours helping someone move and was hot, tired, and dehydrated. I knew in the first 5 minutes that I was not going to be able to do intervals. So I made the best of it and climbed up and down a long hill.

Meetings with Dell all morning and most of the afternoon at Dell's Executive Briefing Center. Then it was quickly back to the hotel for a WebEx with a potential customer.

Finally! Training! 4 x 3:00 running intervals up a 3% hill at an 8:34 pace. (On the last interval, the last 20 seconds, I "sprinted" at a 6:58 pace).

Thought I had enough time to get a run in, but barely had enough time to eat lunch before it was off on a tour of Dell's (that's Dell Computer, not Dell Todd) primary data center, then off to their solutions center to see some new technology.

We ran late, so thre was just enough time to clean up before we (a group of IT people) headed off to the local Triple-A baseball game with Dell. It ran into overtime so I wasn't to bed until close to midnight,. Long day.
