The original goal was intervals, but I had spent the previous 3 hours helping someone move and was hot, tired, and dehydrated. I knew in the first 5 minutes that I was not going to be able to do intervals. So I made the best of it and climbed up and down a long hill. |

Finally! Training! 4 x 3:00 running intervals up a 3% hill at an 8:34 pace. (On the last interval, the last 20 seconds, I "sprinted" at a 6:58 pace). |

Thought I had enough time to get a run in, but barely had enough time to eat lunch before it was off on a tour of Dell's (that's Dell Computer, not Dell Todd) primary data center, then off to their solutions center to see some new technology. |

We ran late, so thre was just enough time to clean up before we (a group of IT people) headed off to the local Triple-A baseball game with Dell. It ran into overtime so I wasn't to bed until close to midnight,. Long day. |
