Posted - Mar 13 2012 : 12:25:07 PM It seemed very unlikely, but it turned into a marvelous Big Day of memorable challenges for 5 of us -- 7 hours on the extremely technical 18-mile Jordan River Pathway. Good glide in deep corn snow with pristine rushing water on all sides half of the day. Huge views up on the ridges for the other half. Pics and report at OYB.
It was the 3rd and final annual event of the Michigan Backcountry Series. (Maybe there were 4 this year, though, if you count the spontaneously superb 5-hr romp in the fresh stuff over at Yankee Springs on the day of the Frosty.)
