After long ago having locked up the World Cup overall title, Jason Lamy Chappuis of France closed up the season with a win as he took home the King's Cup at Holmenkollen in Norway on Sunday. Billy Demong led the way for the U.S. finishing 10th.

U.S. biathlete Andy Soule (Pearland, Texas) made history Saturday, winning the first U.S. medal of the 2010 Paralympic Games and the first-ever medal for the U.S. Paralympic Biathlon team on the opening day of competition.

After her amazing victory yesterday on the 30 km, Marit Bjoergen won also the sprint race in the free technique at Holmenkollen. The Norwegian queen from the 2010 Olympics finished ahead of Kikkan Randall from USA and Natalia Korosteleva (RUS).
