Norway's Ola Vigen Hattestad and Petra Majdic of Slovenia won classic World Cup sprint races to maintain overall leads in the season's sprint standings. Andy Newell and Torin Koos easily qualified for the finals, but did not make it past the quartfinals.

Lukas Bauer of the Czech Republic won his first World Cup of the season Saturday in a 15K classic race in Otepaae, Estonia. The 2006 Olympic silver medalist is fourth in the season's distance standings.
