The narrow 100 meter course was tricky. There were tight fast corners, undulations, and, if you weren't centered in the lane, grass just off the edge ready to catch a ski tip. But it was snow, in October!

Rain threatened, but it stayed dry for the Team NordicSkiRacer Tuesday night Intensity Session. Typically, we alternate rollerski and ski walking interval sessions. This Tuesday we did a 2 mile running time trial instead.

Every Tuesday in September will be intensity night, with a session focused on training at or near race speed. Every Wednesday in September will be strength night, with a session focused on general and specific strength training.

NordicSkiRacer Bill Kaltz takes us around the April 2 ski trail at Huron Meadows Metropark at about 9:30am. Freezing conditions made the trail firm and skiable early in the morning.
