Due to the high walking traffic, the Tourist Park trailhead will not be groomed on a regular basis this winter. Many people walk on the trail, through the groomed tracks, destroying the grooming efforts.

England's first all weather cross-country ski trail opened in Yorkshire last month. The 1,200m trail, in the grounds of Stockeld Park near Wetherby, Yorkshire, gives British cross-country skiers another training option.

Here is the situation as of 6:30 AM, Tuesday, November 20: Snow!! I measured 11 inches of new snow in front of my house this morning. Our groomer was out early rolling the Rendezvous Ski Trails - we will be skiing in town today.

The plateau above town looks to have skiable snow. In town is a little dodgy. A decision to hold the Super Tour races will be made Tuesday.

In Livigno the valley is covered with 35 cm of snow: a 4 km training track is now open, followed by a second technical course, soon. The winter ski season will be officially opened on 30th of November, with Skipass Free.

It IS true that the MDNR won’t be assisting us with grooming reimbursement funds, but TART will continue to groom the Vasa Pathway this winter with money from grooming badges, kilometer sponsors, the fee pipes, and support from the Vasa Race group.
