The U.S. Ski Team's Laura Valaas (Wentachee, WA), who cruised to nine victories and the USSA Cross Country SuperTour sprint title a year ago, showed Friday she hasn't lost a beat. She led each heat en route to winning the opening SuperTour.

November 23: It’s been a busy day here in Beitostolen, getting ready for tomorrow’s World Cup distance opener. We had a long day in the wax room and two sessions on snow testing structures, wax, and race skis for the athletes.

Laura Valaas (APU) and Garrott Kuzzy (CXC) won the opening round of the 2008 SuperTour today. Valaas, last year's overall sprint champion, leads the SuperTour after one race.

Anchorage, Alaska: The new targets in Anchorage have been installed! They got started at 9:00 a.m. and finished up at 4:30 pm Tuesday, November 19, 2007. Everything was unpacked, measured, lead traps put up, and targets put together and placed.
