The Noquemanon Trail Network was notified that the Michigan DNR has lost all funding for the grooming of the Blueberry Ridge Pathway. Other cross country ski trail systems affected in the state by the cuts are the Vasa, Ogema Hills and all other pathways.

On May 1st Kris did his first sustained intensity session of the training season. He just did his 16th (including time trials) and last of the training season. Now it’s race season.

Roller skiers are gearing up for the fourth annual JENEX LIMESTONE LOPPET, an 8K off-road roller-skiing time trial on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the McKee Marsh Trail at Blackwell Forest Preserve in DuPage County.

The NTN is assisting the Friends of Valley Spur in signing a 10 year special use permit with the US Forest Service to manage the Valley Spur trail corridor. The Valley Spur trails were in danger of losing their funding through their Federal funding.
