The Holiday Classic race was held at Boyne Valley Lodge on Saturday at 10 am. The 2.5 Km track was firm with a dusting of new snow. The skiers used kick from Asics Yellow to Brooks Blue and it all worked great.

When we ducked under the clouds flying into the Traverse City airport I could tell that the new snow was welcome. It wasn’t hard to see the snow cover was a little thin, but I had been assured that the 2006 North American Vasa would go.
