Originally scheduled for 29th January- 4th February but postponed due to a lack of snow, the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships and under-23 Cross-Country Championships in Tarvisio (ITA) will begin Monday, 12th March.

World Championships silver medalist Bill Demong took the lead at the 8K mark Friday and went on to the second World Cup nordic combined victory of his career, winning by 6.6 seconds at the Lahti Ski Games.

The women’s podium was filled with Wildcat green and gold Wednesday at the NCAA Skiing Championships in Jackson, N.H. Northern Michigan University seniors Lindsay Williams, Morgan Smyth and Lindsey Weier swept the top three spots in the 5K freestyle.
