When any force or stress is put on nearly frozen turf, the results are that it immediately kills the grass underneath. The best thing to do is wait until the turf is sufficiently covered with enough snow to insulate it from stress.

Finally!! Got some good snow available to groom and ski on for this week at Boyne Mountain. Have now packed about 80% (25-30KM) of the trail system.
