UMOPC provides state of the art care
The University of Michigan Health System Orthotics and Prosthetics Center brings together a team of experts in orthotics, prosthetics and pedorthics as well as therapists and physicians in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This collaborative care approach is at the core of the University of Michigan’s superior care. Center is able to offer up-to-date comprehensive care to help improve the lives of patients and their families. Our practitioners, technicians and facility are accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC).
The Center is among the few institutional facilities in the country that offer comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic services to clients, including:
Consultation, evaluation, design, fabrication and fitting of custom orthotic and prosthetic devices
Custom fit and off-the-shelf orthotic and prosthetic devices are available
Full range of soft goods, stockings, lymphedema garments and post-mastectomy items
Orthotic devices from head-to-toe, ranging from head-shaping helmets for infants and translucent face masks to spinal and extremity orthoses and custom-made shoes

The Center is conveniently located in Ann Arbor, just minutes from I-94 and US-23. Free parking and easy access to the facility is available. Call ahead and we can provide wheelchair support.
