The Central Collegiate Ski Association has launched a Web site that can be accessed at www.ccsaski.com. The site, which went live last week, serves to increase the exposure of the 12-team CCSA by providing Nordic skiing news, results, photos, and more. There are also links to each program’s school Web site for rosters, schedules and other information. “This new Web site is a great tool for learning more about college skiing in Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin and Alaska,” said Matias Saari, the first Sports Information Director for the CCSA. “Now there’s one central place for ski enthusiasts to access a wealth of useful information, and the site will only get better as the season continues.” The CCSA, which comprises the NCAA’s Central Region, consists of Northern Michigan University, Michigan Tech University, Finlandia University, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Northland College, the Alaska Nanooks from Fairbanks and six Minnesota schools: Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Cloud State University, St. Olaf College, College of Saint Scholastica, College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. All schools have both men’s and women’s teams with the exception of St. Benedict and St. Cloud (women only) and St. John’s (men only) The site was created by Mundt Arts Web design service of Houghton, Mich.
