Family news on the World Cup

The two-time overall World Cup winner and 2006/07 FIS Tour de Ski winner Tobias Angerer (GER) and his partner Romy Groß became parents of a girl named Karlotta Teres on 2nd September.

Already on June 17th, a little baby girl called Victoria Kris was born in the USA to Kristina Smigun-Vähi (EST), the 2006 Olympic Champion, and her husband Kristjan-Thor Vähi.

Anna Dahlberg, the 2006 Team Sprint Olympic Champion married teammate Johan Olsson this summer and will start in the future competitions under the name of Anna Olsson.

The Canadian World Cup athlete Georg Grey too tied the knot this summer. He married his long-term girlfriend Lesley in his hometown Rossland (B.C.). Already in April, the Finnish top World Cup athlete Sami Jauhojärvi said "Yes, I do" to his new wife Laura.
