The Vasa Ski Club crushed the competition to take the 2012 Biac Cup for best junior team, the 2012 Brumbaugh Cup for best senior team, and the overall 2012 Michigan Cup for best combined team. The Vasa Ski Club finished the season with 26% more points than the second place finisher, the Cross Country Ski Headquarters, 37,217 to 27,423. Straits Striders was third with 19,277 points in a close contest with Team NordicSkiRacer and the Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team.
The VASA Ski Club was helped by Eli Brown, the overall Michigan Cup Champion along with Milan Biac in third; by Amy Powell, Laura Web and Gussie Peterson, who took 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the women's competition; by Andrew Bruning and Sean Brownell who were the top two junior male skiers; and by Erin Lipp, the top junior female skier.

A skiers top five races count toward individual points; the Biac and Brumbaugh Cup are the sum of individual points as show below. 80 percent of the senior points and 20 percent of the junior points count toward the Michigan Cup:
