Roller skis are nothing new. I'd tried it. Didn't like it. The tiny wheels on most roller skis didn't do very well on the rough roads of New England and northern New York. Then I tried some V2 Aeros.

A trail reroute, a trail repair, and a new set of mile markers are nearly complete this spring on Kensington Metropark's hike-bike trail. The reroute will make the trail slightly longer while eliminating a hill.

Kensington's paved path around the lake is going to be repaved between the two bridges along I-96. It is currently all gravel and unsuitable for rollerskis or rollerblades.

Something I find really useful for sharpening rollerski ferrules is a Dremel with a diamond-disc. The diamond disc cuts through the ferrule tips like butter. And you can take the Dremel with you on holidays!

I have owned the 100SR (with both ATRA speed reducers and the brake system) this entire past dryland season and skied a few hundred Ks on them. I have a recommendation and a couple issues with the 100SR that need attention.
