Three US athletes at Tour de Ski
A trio of U.S. Ski Team athletes are set to start Friday in the famed Tour de Ski cross country stage race. Kikkan Randall (Anchorage), Kris Freeman (Andover, NH) and Andy Newell (Shaftsbury, VT) face eight races in 10 days.

Boyne Highlands Classic on Sunday CANCELLED!
The cool down we were hoping for overnight never happened and with the light rain we received, part of our trail was lost. We are forced to cancel the race for Sunday.

Newell, Randall Top 20 in Stage 1
The U.S. Ski Team’s Kikkan Randall and Andy Newell lead the US as the FIS Tour de Ski got underway today. Newell skied a strong lap to take 14th, with Randall in 16th on her birthday.

Sunday's Boyne Highlands race still on
As of noon Thursday, we expect to hold a race Sunday, Jan 2nd. If conditions permit, we will have a classic race on the lower trails at an estimated 10km/5km junior. If we can't set track we may opt for a 10km freestyle.

Nubs Nob race CANCELLED
Due to the forecasted weather and minimal snow, the Nubs Nob race on 1/1/11 is canceled but may be rescheduled. Conditions at best would be icy and at worst be dirt in the corners due to the rain. Skiing may still be good but not safe for a race.
