Today was the long race day at Junior Olympics in Truckee, California; a 10K for the OJ and J1 women (we have one of each) and 15K for the OJ and J1 men (the 14 dudes on the team.)

The trail for the 15k skate is quite hilly and it seems to be all up hill, but we all know that that can't happen on a loop, but it sure seems like that.

Sixteen members of the Great Lakes District skiers raced in Junior Olympics Sprint Race in Truckee, California on Monday under sunny and warm skies. Brendan Baic, Christina Mishica, Luke Geshsior and Jesse Smith all made it into the Quarter Finals.

Temperatures stayed at or below freezing for Sunday's Boyne Highlands 5 Km / 15 Km Freestyle race. The course was tilled several times to provide an non-icy surface. The course was extremely fast but "edgeable."
