Snow train terminated. Wabos Loppet?
The Agawa Canyon Snow Train used by hundreds of skiers each spring to get to the start of the Wabos Loppet is no more. Effective immediately, the snow train has been cancelled.

Combined team 7th in Kuusamo
U.S. Nordic Combined Ski Team’s Taylor Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) posted the fastest time in his cross country anchor leg and moved up the pack to give the USA seventh in the 4x5k team event at the nordic combined World Cup season opener.

Telemark Resort sells for $926,000, stays dark
The Lodge was finally sold last week for $926,000 to Newco LLC out of Colorado. There is no information on what Newco will do with the resort.
