Nub's Nob

31K of groomed and tracked cross country including a 2K lit loop at night. See Chestnut Valley above for a connecting trail map. 

All loops are 18 feet wide, groomed for freestyle (skating) and classic (diagonal stride) skiing. Snowshoeing is allowed on far side of trail opposite classic track.

There are some flat trails here, but there are also big long hills for those of you who want the challenge up - and down! The upper loops ascend and descend on a beginner alpine ski slope.

The upper trails of Nubs seem to get great early season and late season snow. There might not be snow anywhere else, but that trail may have mid-winter conditions. There's a parking lot for the upper trail - ask for directions to get there, or just climb up the alpine slope to it for an extra challenge!
