The Forbush Memorial Classic is the second of three Michigan Cup races hosted each season at Forbush Corner Nordic. This year’s event will feature a race of approximately 12 km race for senior skiers and a 6 km for juniors, with exact courses depending on snow conditions.
With 3.3 km of snowmaking trails, Forbush Corner is ready to guarantee excellent skiing regardless of the weather. And when natural snow is abundant, racers may also get the chance to experience some of the 25+ km of beautifully groomed trails throughout the trail system.
The Forbush Memorial Classic is held each year to honor a skier who has made a lasting impact on cross-country skiing in Michigan. More than just a competition, this event is a celebration of skiing and community, a time to share the trails, reconnect with friends, and take part in a Michigan Cup tradition.
We hope you’ll join us on the snow and be part of this special tribute.
