Junior Noque

What:

Thanks to a generous supporter there is NO COST for Junior Noque skiers to participate. Registration fees, and some primary operational expenses, are covered annually through this generous gift in memory of Cheri Rundman. Cheri, who skied the Noque for several years under the last name of Uelmen, was an elite level skier from Ishpeming who often placed in the top 5 or 10 places. Cheri spent a lot of time skiing at Al Quaal which is the location of the Junior Noque.

To further commemorate Cheri’s legacy, the Junior Noque is officially called the Rundman Jacobson Junior Noquemanon!

Pre-registration, with no fee, is still strongly recommended for all Junior skiers.

The 2026 Rundman Jacobson Junior Noquemanon will be held at Al Quaal Recreation area in Ishpeming.

Race Information
All Junior Noque events are Classic

5K Classic – starts at 4:00pm and is for skiers ages 14-19
3K Classic – starts at 4:30pm and is for skiers ages 8-13
1K Classic (untimed) – starts at 5:00pm and is for skiers ages 7 and under
