Michigan Cup: Hanson Hills Classic

It was a sweep for the Staits Striders, with Denny Paull and Tracy Hardin each taking first place in the Hanson Hills Classic. Paull's winning 40:17 time was just ahead of Ryan Harris and Dan Yankus (40:20 and 40:22).

Hardin skied into the finish in 50:21. Ann Wagar finished second in 53:43, with Rebecca Barton third in 55:17.

Reports Michael Seeman, "Butch [Stockton] laid out a new 13km course including a km of very narrow classic only trail and the M-93 hills. Zero-ish at the start with great snow. Interval start with two skiers every 15 seconds so it was full throttle the entire way."
