It's a wrap, folks - we have the overall male and female winners for the 2025 Michigan Cup!
Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop skiers Rebecca Davis and Jorden Wakeley have perfect 1,000 scores with five wins each and are the 2025 Michigan Cup Overall Champions.
Davis raced 11 Michigan Cup races, never finishing lower then 3rd. Erica O'Hearn (Vasa) finished in second place overall with three wins and 994 points. Mandy Paull (HH/CCSS) is third with 988 points and two wins.
Directly behind Wakely, Ed Roe (Vasa) had three wins and four second place finishes for a total of 998 points and second place overall. Andrew Moore (HH/CCSS) takes third overall with 991 points that also included three wins.
Ava Zeratsky (Vasa) is the Overall Girls Champion with 997 points and four wins. Lindsey Smith (Vasa) took second with 971 points and one win. Eveyln Grant (no ski team) came in third with 969 points.
Olin Kasperowic (Vasa) crushed the competition for the Overall Boys Champion with five first place finishes and two third places finishes for a total of 1,000 points. Liam Wierza (Vasa) took second place overall with 984 points after a great showing at the Michigan High School Championships. In third is Robert Myler (Vasa) with 969 points and one win.
