2026 Olympian Sophia Tsu Velicer raced in 2011 North American Vasa

Sophia Tsu Velicer, representing Chinese Taipei, just finished 52nd in the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games. But back in 2011 at age 11, she was in Traverse City, Michigan, racing in the 12km Classic North American Vasa. She finished 4th in 1:40:21, behind Emily Steffke, Hayley Padden ,and Hannah Steffke. At the time, she was living in Bloomington, Indiana.
