The distance season is officially underway. I am satisfied with the effort Kris and Lars gave even though neither were fresh enough for a good result. When it came time to push they both pushed hard and fought to the finish.,

I injured my right shin during a 3 hours rollerski a couple weeks ago. I backed off the training hoping the pain would go. No deal. I finally decided to make the best of it: I hit the Vasa Ergometer.

All is well in Beitostolen. Kris had a good set of classic intervals a couple of days ago, and that was followed by a five hour OD the next day. The OD was a bit tough for the first few hours because the organizers were blowing snow on the course...,

Today’s Norway Cup skate race was Kris’s first real race of the year. He finished 20th, a little over a minute out of the lead. It certainly wasn’t a mind-blowing effort - in his first race last year he was 18th in a World Cup.,
