Good Morning!! It's a chilly one this morning....temperature sitting at -19 C.
There was no grooming overnight/this morning -- we simply need some new snow (which is supposed to be coming today)!

Mon, Feb 23: Hiawatha Highlands (Sault Ste. Marie)
Happy Monday Morning! It's a perfectly sunny morning up here....a little cooler than what we've been getting used to.....temp currently at -14 C.
The groomer is currently out on the trails -- The Pinder system and the 2k Lighted skate lanes have been Ginzu groomed, as well as the Crystal 5k. He is currently on the Red Pine.

Still awesome! The first km from the Lodge has a bit of icy washboard, but after that you will be very happy.

Awesome skating again this morning until 10:30am when it started to drastically slow down. Classic should be fine all day even in mixed precip. Trail should stay plenty firm all day, just getting moist on top and slow.

Excellent trail conditions today for both skating and classic. The base is deep with cold dry snow so the crust from the last couple of days blended up nicely with the fresh inch on top to make a very controllable surface with just a dash of ice for the speed lovers amongst us.

Good Morning Snow Peeps!! We got a bit of snow overnight, freshening things up beautifully! The temperature is currently at -3 C.
The groomer was out this morning -- ALL systems have been Piston Bully groomed for both classic and skate....and trails are looking terrific!!
We hope everyone has a super awesome, ridiculously fantabulous, crazy good, happy kind of day.....how could you not if you're up here skiing! :)
