CANCELLED: The record 52 degree temperatures and afternoon sun obliterated the trail as well as the snow around the trail.

For 36 years , skiers from all over the state have been
gathering to celebrate their passion for the sport of cross-country
skiing, and for 35 years, smiling faces have raised money for charitable
organizations around the state while having fun with their friends and
family.

- 10km tour classic & freestyle - 11:30am

Both the classic and skating events start at the Cross Country Ski Trails adjacent to the Jocelyn Township Office. The classic event will be one time around the trail system. The skating event will be three times around the trail system. The classic track will be erased before the skaters begin. The race course will be a minimum of 9 feet wide, traveling through wooded and hilly country.

Learn to Ski for Free!
If
you have any interest in outdoor winter recreation, exercise, or just
plain fun, the “Learn to Ski for Free” lesson is a no-brainer. Each
Saturday at 4pm, from December 10th - March 4th, learn the basics of
Cross Country Classic Skiing or Skate Skiing at no charge (conditions
permitting). Adults and kids welcome. This is a beginner class, and FUN
is the main goal. Sign in at the rental desk at 3:45pm, or earlier if
you need to rent ski equipment for a nominal charge. This class is free
and lasts approximately 1 hour.
