5th Annual Huron Meadows Groomer and Snowmaker Appreciation Party

April 6, 2013

Fri, Apr  5, 2013 - By Ken Roth

It's time for the 5th annual Huron Meadows Groomer and Snowmaker appreciation party.  We've added the word "Snowmaker" to the party's name to recognize that if it weren't for the snowmaking we would have had just a couple of days to ski around here. It's time to say thank you to the people who go above and beyond their jobs to provide us with the opportunity to do what we love to do - ski.

Snowmaking at Huron Meadows Metropark for the cross country ski trails.
The party will be at Huron Meadows, April 6th at 11:30, either in the clubhouse, or at an outdoor pavilion depending upon the weather.  We are asking for $10/person, payable at the door, to pay for the food and contribute to  gifts for the groomers.  Feel free to bring a dish to pass to supplement the food supply.

Any amount collected above costs will be donated back to Huron Meadows to support the ski program.

If you can make it, please RSVP to me at, and let me know how many will be attending.

This is the one time we have to say thank you as a group for a service which we get to enjoy all winter long.

Please join us.
