TAMC National Championships - Freeman Wins Men's Pursuit

Fri, Mar  30, 2007  - By NENSA

Presque Isle, ME - Kris Freeman (Andover, NH) made an early move, took a one-minute lead into the exchange and maintained that lead through the skate leg to take the victory over Canadian Alex Harvey. Middlebury Alum and current CXC Skier Garrot Kuzzy grabbed third. Another Canadian, Chris Butler finished 4th, leaving Torin Koos in 5th overall with the final podium spot in the National Championship Event.

With temperatures in the low 30's and a hard, fast racing surface, competitors enjoyed fast conditions atypical for spring racing. Racing continues with the National Championship 50/30K on Sunday.
