Our venue is tucked into the 'western Alps'.  These mountains are huge. 

This is a picture from a ride up the Aguille du Midi tram in Chamonix.  This is the highest tram in the world.

 

Our first race took place today.  6 'team USA' U23 racers put themselves up against the best to see where they stand.  Here are the results:
