Please note that the Vasa Ergometer does allow users a lot of versatility especially when one gets the set up with the padded bench.  One can kayak, canoe paddle, swim, cross country ski poling, and do over 50 functional exercises for injury prevention or rehab, including the “rowing” motion for just the upper body (not legs and arms simultaneously).  This versatility does create tremendous value for those who need the Erg to do more than one trick!
