Email to Randy Bladel from Milan Baic:

Just a quick note.  I won another Bronze medal today in the 45 km skate race.  Conditions were really tough today.  4 inches of new snow made for softer track conditions.  The temperature was about 28 F at my start and climbed to about 34 F by the end.  No wind but snow squalls during the race made for extra challenging conditions.  Did I mention the verticle climbing on the course?  1700 ft per lap X 3 or 4000 ft in todays race!!

I could not have pushed as hard without the great feeds on the course from my wife, Carrie, and Randy Bladel.

Travel waxing and tonights banquet, so I´m a little pressed for time right now.  I'll try to send out another e-mail later today.  I´m not sure how Cliff did.  Somewhere in the teens or 20s.  Check website for complete results. Randy Smith, also from Traverse City has been sick all week, so didn´t race much this week.
