What's there: Hardwood Ski and Bike has over 40 km of beautiful, rolling trails through hardwood and pine forests for cross-country skiing. The trail network consists of 8 different loops ranging from 3 km to 22 km. There is a trail for every level of ability, from beginner to elite racer on terrain that ranges from gently rolling to challenging.

Hardwood grooms all of the trails for both Classic and Skate skiing, using the new, state of the art grooming equipment. This equipment allows us to groom in all snow conditions, no matter what. Voted 6 years in a row by Get Out There Magazine as the best cross-country ski facility in eastern Ontario.

We have state of the art groomers that make great trail conditions regardless of how much snow there is or what the weather conditions are. Our promise is that we will groom to the best of our ability every day. We groom every night during the winter and if we need to groom again during the day we will do so, safely, with our smaller machines.

With learning in mind, Hardwood Ski and Bike wants to make cross-country skiing accessible to anyone from 3 – 70 years of age. There are many programs in place from either helping beginners feel comfortable on their skis to training elite athletes on improving their techniques. Kids can enjoy the NordiKids or Fast Trax program while adults can enjoy a Ski Better clinic, Ski 4 Life program, or even a private lesson.

Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking are all offered at the resort; therefore, the whole family can enjoy the outdoor winter playground. With a food truck on-site serving delicious meals and snacks, a service shop for your entire rental, waxing and repair needs, as well as a retail shoppe equipped with cross-country ski gear galore, we promise you’ll have an amazing, full-service experience at Hardwood Ski and Bike.
