From 18th February -1st March, the 2009 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships will take place in the Bohemian city Liberec (CZE). After years of intensive preparations, Liberec is ready for its grand premiere and looking forward to the event.

The FIS U-23 and Junior Cross-Country World Championships were successfully held from 29th January to 6th February 2009 in Praz de Lys, (FRA).
At the altitude of around 1200-1300m, the athletes will compete in the Nordic Ski Center "Azzurri d'Italia" which will host its first ever Cross-Country World Cup event.
