In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the North American Vasa brought back the 50k Freestyle and 50k Classic. In a salute to her father - co-race director Ken Dawson - Natalie Dawson won the women's 50k in 2:42:36.

The race dawned with a foot of heavy new snow on both the JACK RABBIT 3.5k and FLYING SQUIRREL 5k racecourses. Middle and High School skiers from Nubs Nob, Vasa Raptor and Crystal Nordic teams showed their grit and strength in these tough conditions. (Video and results)
