TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2020
Time:
2:15 PM
Where:
Theodore Wirth Regional Park, Minneapolis, MN
What:

For the first time in two decades, a Coop FIS Cross Country World Cup race will be held on U.S. soil. The preeminent cross country skiing world tour, presented by Coop, is held each winter between November and March and consists of a series of races highlighting various techniques and distances.

This year, the fastest skiers in the world — including our own star athletes on the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team — will come together to compete in the World Cup Sprint Finals in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event will be the last chance for skiers to race head-to-head before the crowning and awarding of the Crystal Globe to the 2020 sprint champions. The last time an Coop FIS Cross Country World Cup event was held in the U.S. was in 2001, so this will be the first time that most of the foreign athletes have competed in America.

Be part of this historic moment celebrating worldwide winter sports by volunteering, becoming a partner, and coming out to Theodore Wirth Regional Park in March of 2020 for this once-in-a-lifetime event!
