Official points keeper Ken Dawson has released the latest standings for the 2013 Michigan Cup Series. "With the season down to a few weeks everyone will know where they stand on individual and team points.  As always, let me know if you have any questions. - Ken."  

Team Standings

  1. Vasa Ski Club – 42,715 Points
  2. Cross Country Ski Headquarters – 35,616
  3. Team NordicSkiRacer – 25,402
  4. Straits Striders  -  22,576
  5. Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team – 18,196
  6. Hanson Hills/Cross Country Ski Shop – 18,158

Eivnd Kragebakk and Erin Lipp lead they junior standings. Kragebakk has 982 points, ahead of Kyle Dotterer and Clay Darling (940 and 928 points). Erin Lipp has five wins to her name and has a perfect score of 1,000 points. Sarah Goble and Hann Davis are in second and third with 976 and 912 points each.

Amy Powell and Ryan Harris top the senior standings. Powell leads with 996 points; Kaitlyn Patterson and Brenda Carlson trail with 976 and 960 points.

The men's race is incredibly tight. Ryan Harris and Alex Vanias are tied with the same number of points (995), but Harris officially leads because he's beat Vanais in head to head races. Harris also has two wins to Vanais's one win. One point behind them is Dan Yankus, and a point behind Yankus is Milan Baic.
