The Tour Team Standing premieres at the second Tour de Ski. The Tour Team Standing is a team scoring whereby the racing times of the two best women and two best men per nation each day count for the Team Standing. At the end of the Tour, the best nation will receive a Tour Team Standing trophy.
This team scoring is expected to result in the teams working more together and more with team tactics as is often the case in large cycling races.
