The 10th annual Junior "Muffin Race" was held here today under less than ideal conditions. At the start the temperature was 4 degrees above zero with snow and gusty winds. Seventy-four skiers answered the starter's call to go to the line in 4 different age categories for both boys and girls.

20th Anniversary!
The Birth of the Michigan Cup & It's Honor Roll

The Michigan Cup was the brainchild of three skiers, Chris Weingartz, Don Kane and Scott Salik. The original intent of the series was to be able to determine a true state champion over a series of races.  The same series would be used to crown a champion team.
